De première van: Het kruis in de duinen!
Op 28 december was het zover: de première van: Het kruis in de duinen. De documentaire had op 28 december een besloten digitale première voor iedereen die had meegewerkt aan de documentaire en extra genodigden. Op 30 december was de documentaire: Het kruis in de duinen voor iedereen te zien op Omroep Zeeland. Voor de Zeeuwse Documentaire Stichting hebben wij deze documentaire gemaakt.
Voor iedereen die heeft meegewerkt aan de documentaire was een pakketje gemaakt met lekkernijen zoals bij een echte première. Daarnaast konden we achteraf een video bekijken over achter de schermen bij het draaien van de re-enacmentscenes. Bekijk de video hieronder:
Het was een mooie manier om via deze weg toch de première van de documentaire: Het kruis in de duinen te kunnen doen. Aan de documentaire hebben we driekwart jaar ongeveer gewerkt. We hebben veel verschillende draaidagen gehad op veel bijzondere plekken. Hoog in de duinen, in België, op het strand, bij Fort Rammekens, bij verschillende monumenten en op nog veel meer plekken. Ook hebben we verschillende mensen gesproken: veel nabestaanden, een wethouder, burgemeesters, veteranen en andere mensen. Het is een mooie documentaire geworden. We zijn blij dat Colin Bal het initiatief nam om dit kruis te vernieuwen en dat wij deze zoektocht konden vastleggen op beeld.
